Someone brave to lead the way and make us want to, dare to, pursue our dreams. Or simply help feel good about ourselves just as we are.\u00a0\u00a0 Datuk Ambiga is definetely a role model for women&#8217;s around the world\u00a0. She inspires me to continue with my cause\u00a0\u00a0to advocate women empowerment, eradication of poverty and\u00a0human rights.<\/p>\n<p>In recognising her dedication to human rights and the rule of law, France has awarded\u00a0Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan with its highest honour, the <em>Chevalier de Legion d&#8217;Honneur <\/em>(Knight of the Legion of Honour).<\/p>\n<div>French Ambassador to Malaysia Marc Barety presented the award to the former Bar Council president in a ceremony at his residence on Friday.
